Weekly dance classes for adults in Leroc (aka modern jive) are held at Westlands on Tuesday evenings. There is a licensed bar and air conditioning, and a nice friendly 'club'-type atmosphere, plus a huge free on-site car park.
Even if you are a complete beginner with two left feet - you are welcome! Just turn up on any Tuesday evening, with or without a partner, ready for 7.45pm. The cost of admission covers the whole session, including all classes, beginner coaching and practice/freestyle dancing to music.
The class has been running since 27-Sep-2007 and is taught by Russell Payne, attracting dancers from the Somerset areas of Somerton, Martock, Crewkerne and Ilminster, and North Dorset areas of Sherborne and Sturminster Newton.
Leroc also runs weekly classes in Dorchester and Axminster, if either is more convenient for you.
Parking
Westlands has it's own car park just outside. It's huge and free!
