Weekly dance classes for adults in Leroc (aka modern jive) are held at Westlands on Tuesday evenings. There is a licensed bar and air conditioning, and a nice friendly 'club'-type atmosphere, plus a huge free on-site car park.
Even if you are a complete beginner with two left feet - you are welcome! Just turn up on any Tuesday evening, with or without a partner, ready for 7.45pm. The cost of admission covers the whole session, including all classes, beginner coaching and practice/freestyle dancing to music.
The class has been running since 27-Sep-2007 and is taught by Russell Payne, attracting dancers from the Somerset and Dorset areas of Sherborne, Somerton, Crewkerne, Ilminster and Sturminster Newton.
