Weekly dance classes for adults in Leroc (aka modern jive) are held at Axminster Guildhall on Wednesday evenings. The classes are relaxed and have a nice friendly atmosphere. There is air conditioning. Squash and water are provided or feel free to bring your own refreshments.
Even if you are a complete beginner with two left feet - you are welcome! Just turn up on any Wednesday evening, with or without a partner, ready for 8.00pm. The cost of admission covers the whole session, including all classes, beginner coaching and practice/freestyle dancing to music.
The class has been running since 04-Jan-2006 and is taught by Russell Payne, also attracting dancers from neighbouring towns in East Devon (Honiton, Seaton and Ottery St. Mary) and West Dorset area of Lyme Regis / Uplyme, plus Chard in Somerset.
We also run weekly classes in Yeovil and Dorchester, if either is more convenient for you.
Parking
Large (Co-Op) car park opposite the Guildhall, free parking in evening.
